Nigeria is set to face Cameroon in the Round of 16 at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, following Tuesday evening’s confirmation.
Senegal secured their spot at the top of Group C with a 2-0 victory over Syli Stars, while Cameroon secured second place by defeating Gambia 3-2.
Despite finishing with four points, Guinea’s inferior goal difference left them behind Cameroon.
The Super Eagles, who secured the runner-up position in Group A with a 1-0 win over Guinea-Bissau, will compete against Cameroon in the last-16 clash scheduled for Saturday, January 27, at 9 pm WAT.
