The Ondo State Police Command has foiled a cross-border burglary operation in Ore, arresting one suspected member of a criminal syndicate and recovering stolen property, following a swift response to a distress call from residents.
The incident occurred after two residents of the Ore community, identified as Sunday and Balogun, reported that four suspected burglars forcefully invaded their apartments and made away with valuables. Acting on the report, operatives from the Ore Divisional Police Headquarters immediately mobilised to the scene.
Items reported stolen included two television sets, two motorcycles, a Redmi 13 smartphone, an iPhone 16 Pro Max, an iPhone 11, a Zealot X78 Bluetooth speaker, and a cash sum of ₦670,000.
