Ogun LG Polls: Sagamu APC Recieves Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate
2 min readYesterday afternoon, a planned visitation turned into a celebratory event as the Sagamu Local Government Executive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) welcomed Ogbeni Olasile Odulate-AFO and his entourage to the party secretariat.
The visit was intended to seek the party’s blessings, prayers, and support for his re-election as Council Chairman in the forthcoming local government elections.
While addressing the Chief Opayemi-led executives, Ogbeni Odulate expressed his gratitude to the party for their confidence in his ability to deliver during the 2021 race. He noted that he had made the party proud during his first term with an excellent performance and had come to thank them while seeking their support for another pathway to greatness and abundance, which the good people of Sagamu deserve.
Hon. Muri Awolaja, who was among the party leaders in Ogbeni Odulate’s entourage, praised him for his performance during his first term. He also appealed to the party executives to give Ogbeni Odulate another opportunity to continue the good works he had started. Other prominent party leaders who joined Ogbeni Odulate on his visit to the party executives included Alhaji Kamoru Babatunde (Kabati), Omoba Adebayo, Hon. Lola Awoniyi, Chief Laide Okunola (Citizen), Omolola Soyombo, Martin Olufemi, Kuburat Jaiyeola, Mukaila Tijani, Lawal Mukaila, Barr. Adeleke Solarin, Mrs. Laide Owonifari, Mr. Ademola Soboyejo, Mr. Adejuwon, Oyindamola Lawal, Abiodun Oseni, Chief Sontan, Mr. Adeyemi, Mr. Solaja, Hon. Odusote Rasak, Alhaji Sanni, Tolani Musari, Deacon Otefisan, and many more.
The Party Chairman, Chief Opaleye, emphasized that once he commits to someone, it is not in his nature to turn back. He remarked that AFO is loved by all, and his scorecard will truly speak for him. Among the local government executives who received Ogbeni AFO were Chairman Chief Opaleye, Vice Chairman Hon. Suluka Sogbesan, Secretary Mr. Sulaiman Oyegunle, Women Leader Mrs. Rukayat Sonubi-Yoboro, and others, including the chairmen from the 15 wards of Sagamu Local Government.
