BREAKING: FCTA Seals PDP Secretariat Over 28-Year Debt
Authorities of the Federal Capital Territory Administration have sealed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat located in Zone 5, Abuja, following the non-payment of ground rent for twenty-eight years.
The property, which is owned by Senator Samaila Mamman Kurfi, was among those listed by the FCTA for enforcement due to long-standing violations related to statutory payments.

Earlier warnings had been issued by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, who declared that the administration would no longer tolerate refusal to pay government dues by individuals and organisations occupying valuable real estate across the capital.
The sealing of the PDP Secretariat was carried out with an official sticker indicating that the property has been repossessed by the FCTA.
This action forms part of a wider revenue recovery campaign aimed at compelling defaulting property owners to regularise their obligations or risk forfeiture.
As at press time, there has been no official reaction from Senator Kurfi or the PDP leadership regarding the development.
