Sagamu Chairman, Odulate, Felicitates Muslims On Eid al-Fitr
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the strength and patience to complete the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message, Odulate emphasized the importance of upholding the virtues of Ramadan beyond the fasting period, citing the Holy Qur’an: “And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah sees what you do.” (Qur’an 2:110).
He urged the Muslim community to continue practicing kindness, charity, and righteousness in their daily lives, fostering compassion, generosity, and unity within the society.
“As we exchange warm wishes and enjoy the blessings of today, I also urge us all to use this moment of joy to pray for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and reward our efforts abundantly,” he stated.
The chairman, on behalf of his family and the entire leadership of Sagamu Local Government, wished all Muslims a joyful and fulfilling Eid celebration.
“Eid Mubarak!” he concluded.
