Prince Adewale Arogundade, a leading contender for the Mushin Local Government Chairmanship and the visionary behind Mushin Tun Tun, extends his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In his goodwill message, conveyed through his media aide, Lateef Owodunni, Arogundade urged the people of Mushin to uphold the core values of Ramadan, emphasizing that the lessons of faith, compassion, and honesty should remain guiding principles beyond the holy month.
He stated, “The significance of Ramadan extends beyond fasting; it is a period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and commitment to doing what is right. As we mark this celebration, let us continue to uphold its virtues in our daily lives.”
He further stressed the importance of peace, stating that “no meaningful development can take place without harmony. As we rejoice with our families and loved ones, we must remember that peace remains the foundation for the socioeconomic growth of our country.”
Arogundade also encouraged Muslims to use this festive occasion to pray for Nigeria’s stability and prosperity. He called on residents of Lagos and Nigerians at large to embrace unity, tolerance, and mutual respect, shunning all actions capable of causing discord.
Concluding his message, he prayed that Allah would accept the prayers and sacrifices made during Ramadan and grant the nation lasting peace and progress.
