Otunba Alowonle Meets Akarigbo, Presents Vision For Sagamu’s Future

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, an aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship in Sagamu Local Government, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, FCA, CON, the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remoland.
The visit, which underscores Alowonle’s respect for traditional institutions and cultural heritage, served as an opportunity to inform the revered monarch of his political aspirations and his seven-point manifesto aimed at transforming Sagamu into the “Sagamu of our Dream.” During the meeting, Alowonle emphasized his dedication to the principles of good governance, communal support, and the welfare of the people of Sagamu.
In his response, Oba Babatunde Ajayi warmly welcomed Otunba Alowonle and his entourage, expressing his pleasure at the visit. The Akarigbo bestowed his royal blessings on Alowonle and prayed for his success in all future endeavors.
