Ogbeni Odulate Congratulates Abiodun, Residents As Ogun State Marks Golden Jubilee
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated the government and people of Ogun State as the state marks its 50th anniversary, describing the milestone as a celebration of resilience, progress, and enduring greatness.
In a goodwill message commemorating the Golden Jubilee of the Gateway State, Odulate reflected on Ogun State’s remarkable journey over the past five decades, noting that the anniversary offers an opportunity not only to celebrate past achievements but also to strengthen the foundations for a more prosperous future.
“As we mark five decades of progress and enduring greatness of our Gateway State, I reflect with pride on how far we have come and remain focused on building a future anchored on unity, progress, and shared opportunity,” he said.
The Sagamu LG boss emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in sustaining development, stressing that the jubilee should inspire renewed commitment to inclusive growth and intergenerational prosperity. According to him, the celebration is a moment to appreciate the present while looking ahead to a brighter tomorrow for future generations.
Odulate also extended warm congratulations to Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, whom he described as “the Governor of the people,” commending his leadership and dedication to the continued advancement of Ogun State.
He further congratulated all residents of the state for their contributions to its growth and stability over the years.
“Omo Ogun, Ise Ya! Long live the Gateway State! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
Ogun State, popularly known as the Gateway State, was created on February 3, 1976, and has since grown into one of Nigeria’s key economic and industrial hubs.
