Odulate Hosts MAPOLY SUG Leaders, Pledges Support For Students’ Initiatives
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Jubril Olasile Odulate, on Tuesday received the leadership of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, led by Comrade Afolabi Temitope, a proud indigene of Sagamu.
The visit, according to the union, was aimed at familiarizing with the Chairman and seeking his support towards the ongoing activities and projects of the current SUG administration.

During the interactive session, the SUG leadership expressed their desire to have Hon. Odulate serve as Patron on Programmes and Projects, describing him as a mentor and father figure whose exemplary leadership continues to inspire young people.
Speaking during the visit, Comrade Temitope commended the Council Boss for his visionary leadership and commitment to youth empowerment, adding that his journey in public service remains a motivation for student leaders seeking to make meaningful impact within and beyond their campuses.

In his response, Hon. Odulate appreciated the thoughtful gesture and assured the union of his continued support whenever called upon. He urged the student leaders to stay focused, consistent, and determined in the pursuit of their goals, emphasizing that “no dream is too big to achieve with hard work and perseverance.”
The Chairman further expressed pride in Comrade Temitope for his outstanding leadership at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, describing him as a worthy ambassador of Sagamu and a role model for young people.
