Mudashiru Obasa: Yield To The Heavenly Call To Prevent Heavenly Disgrace
2 min readDear Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, a famous Yoruba adage says, “aja toba maa sonu, koni gbo fere olode”.
Now that the king has spoken, I advise that you to listen to the hunter’s whistle in order to avert disgrace.
Please answer the repeated calls to your phone by a friend who wants the best for you. He has called twice to no avail. Your friend hasn’t forgotten the many years of support from you, which is why he is relentless in calling you to order.
Pick up the calls from your friend to save yourself from damning consequences.
Do not forget what happened to Speaker Joko Pelumi and Speaker Adeyemi Kuforiji. They didn’t do as much as you have before they paid the price.
No one matters to you! You step on any available toe, be it Governor, Senator, House of Representatives, or House of Assembly.
The Yoruba say, “Ti ilu ba ndun kolakola, osetan atiya ni.” So, fear the end which you won’t have the opportunity to explain.
You have even used money and state resources to buy as many as 8 GAC members to your side against the Governor. You probably want to stage an impeachment to complement all your anti-Governor moves.
Don’t forget that “abani daa kan, kii baani debe.” The fact that those people are with you now doesn’t mean they won’t step aside when you begin to fall.
Yield to the heavenly call before it’s too late.
