NWC Approves New Ogun PDP Executive, Calls For Continued Collaboration

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved and ratified the new Ogun State Working Committee (SWC) and other executive members at all levels.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, by Otunba (Arc.) Kayode Adebayo, the Ogun State PDP expressed its gratitude for the NWC’s approval and called for ongoing collaboration among party members, the media, security agencies, and other stakeholders.
According to him, the approval has solidified the party’s leadership structure, which will now be in place from October 2024 to 2028, bringing clarity to all concerned parties.
The official handing-over ceremony took place on Monday, October 14, 2024, attended by prominent party leaders and stakeholders. This event followed the NWC’s ratification of the congresses conducted in the state, all in accordance with the PDP’s guidelines and amended constitution.
The party urged the public and relevant stakeholders to maintain a spirit of cooperation under the leadership of Chief (Hon.) Abayomi Tella, the newly ratified Chairman.
