‘A Peaceful Sagamu Is Non-Negotiable’ – APC’s Odulate Reaffirms Commitment
1 min readOgbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Sagamu Local Government, has reaffirmed the importance of security as the primary responsibility of government at all levels.
According to Odulate, ensuring the safety of lives and property is essential to creating a thriving business environment.
Acknowledging the constitutional limitations of local governments in handling security matters, Odulate said his administration remained determined to pursue every available option and foster meaningful collaborations with key stakeholders.
“Our openness and inclusive approach have paid off, as we have been able to restore Sagamu to an atmosphere of peace and tranquility,” Odulate said.
Expressing gratitude for the progress made, he commended all stakeholders, with special recognition for the youth and the people of Sagamu for their unwavering support. “I am deeply grateful to everyone for this overdue achievement. Special appreciation goes to our youths and the good people of Sagamu at large,” he noted.
However, Odulate stressed that the work is not yet finished. “It is not uhuru yet,” he cautioned, adding that efforts will be intensified to sustain the peaceful atmosphere. He also pledged to build on existing collaborations across sectors to ensure continuous improvement.
“A peaceful and prosperous Sagamu is non-negotiable,” Odulate declared.
