Mandate Group Warns Against Public Deception By Prince Osiyemi, Others
1 min readThe leadership of The Mandate Movement (TMM) in Mushin local government has dismissed the claim by Prince Bayo Osiyemi as the apex leader of the group, describing it as baseless and deceptive.
In a statement signed by Sikiru Kazeem, popularly known as Authority, the secretary of TMM in Mushin and Odi-Olowo, under the leadership of Alhaji Alani Kushimo, the group clarified that Osiyemi’s assertion holds no legitimacy.
“Prince Bayo Osiyemi and his co-travelers are deceiving the public to suit their personal agenda. The Mandate Movement does not recognize him as the apex leader of Mushin and Odi-Olowo chapters,” Kazeem stated.
He further revealed that the group behind Osiyemi’s alleged appointment is The Mudashiru Movement, an illegal political group that has no ties to the authentic TMM.
The statement also reaffirmed that Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo remains the duly recognized chairman of TMM in Lagos State. It emphasized that all leadership appointments are made exclusively through the Central Working Committee (CWC), which operates under Enilolobo’s authority.
Kazeem urged members of the public and TMM to disregard the misleading claims and remain loyal to the legitimate leadership. He called on members to stay steadfast and committed to the ideals of TMM, stating that the group would not allow distractions to undermine its progress.
The leadership concluded by reiterating its commitment to upholding the integrity of TMM and advancing its mission within the Lagos political landscape.
