The event commenced with the official opening of the Alhaji Musbaudeen Alani Olaleye Ultra-modern Market located by Pako bus stop in Akowonjo. This state-of-the-art market is expected to boost local commerce and provide a modern shopping experience for residents.
In addition to the market, the administration also celebrated the official opening of Azeez Ayorinde Street, a crucial road project in Alimosho. This development is part of a broader initiative to address the long-standing infrastructural challenges in the area, enhancing mobility and access for residents.
This project commissioning is the latest in a series of achievements by Hon. Sulaimon’s administration, which has been actively working on multiple fronts to improve the community.
During the market opening ceremony, the Alaye of Orisumbare Land, Oba Akibu Adebowale, lauded the Council Chairman’s relentless pursuit of community development, describing him as an achiever who consistently meets his goals.
Similarly, the Elegbeda of Egbeda Land commended Hon. Sulaimon for the remarkable progress his administration has made within a short period, expressing confidence that more significant achievements are on the horizon before his tenure concludes.

His administration has also constructed more than five essential roads, such as Odebummi Street at Miccom, Santos Layout, Banire Street, and Adebanjo Street, along with necessary drainage systems. While some of these roads have been completed, others are still under construction.
In addition to road projects, Hon. Sulaimon has built an ultra-modern health centre in Akowonjo and another in the Olorungbebe Area (Ologufe), enhancing healthcare services in the community. These new facilities complement similar projects undertaken during his first term.
The administration’s efforts extend beyond infrastructure, with significant investments in educational support.
