Disu’s Appointment Signals Fresh Drive For Police Reform, Says Mogaji

The Nigeria Police Force Liaison and Consultant to the United States Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. Mogaji Busayo, has described the appointment of Tunji Disu as Inspector General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a significant step toward accelerating reforms within the Force.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Busayo congratulated the new IGP, noting that his emergence comes at a critical time when the nation’s security architecture requires renewed operational strength and administrative discipline.
