Adebiyi Adeleye Applauds Remo Stars’ NPFL Victory, Promises Sports-Driven Representation

Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye, Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor and a top contender for the House of Representatives seat in Remo Federal Constituency, has congratulated Remo Stars Football Club for emerging champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

In a statement released by his media office and made available to journalists, Adeleye lauded the club’s management, players, and supporters for their historic achievement.

“I congratulate the entire management team, the players, and the good people of Remo on this remarkable feat. This victory is not just for the club, it is a win for the entire Remo community and Ogun State at large,” he said.

Adeleye, a known supporter of Remo Stars at the national level and a loyal fan of Arsenal FC in Europe, described the win as deeply personal. “As a football lover, this win hits home. It’s a proud moment for all of us who believe in the power of sports to unite and inspire,” he added.

He also praised Governor Dapo Abiodun for his clear commitment to sports development, noting that the state is already reaping the rewards.

“This success tells the importance of Governor Abiodun’s strategic investment in sports as part of his broader plan to make Ogun greater. The results are showing almost immediately,” he noted.

Looking ahead to his aspirations for national office, Adeleye pledged that, if elected as a federal lawmaker, he will prioritize youth development through increased funding for grassroots sports initiatives, talent discovery programs, and infrastructure upgrades across Remo.

“I will ensure that Remo becomes a breeding ground for world-class athletes and professionals. We must turn our local passion into national pride and economic value,” he assured.
