ABISCO, Shakiru Yusuf, Gbadebo Nojeem Secure TMMG Nod Ahead Of Alimosho APC Primaries

The Mandate Movement Group (TMMG), Alimosho federal constituency chapter, has unveiled its caucus-endorsed aspirants for the upcoming primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

At a meeting held on Saturday, May 2, the group’s officers and leaders from all 11 wards in the constituency threw their weight behind three candidates for various legislative seats.

For the House of Representatives seat, TMMG endorsed the immediate past Executive Chairman of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Olabisi Adebajo, popularly known as ABISCO, as its preferred aspirant.

In the race for Alimosho State Constituency 01, the group backed Hon. Shakiru Adisa Yusuf, a former Executive Chairman of Ayobo Ipaja LCDA, a native of Atan land, and the Oluomo of Ipaja. For Alimosho State Constituency 02, the endorsement went to Hon. Gbadebo Nojeem Olugoke, an Awori businessman.

Speaking at the event, Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo, the group’s leader in the constituency, explained that while many caucus members had expressed interest in the offices, the leadership carefully selected the candidates based on their virtues and the broader interests of constituents, the party, and the caucus.

“No one induced the leadership with bribes here,” Enilolobo said. “The tradition of the caucus in selecting the best for the moment was adopted, and we are throwing the prayers and the full weight of this caucus behind our endorsed aspirants in the upcoming primaries.”

The endorsed aspirants, in their respective remarks, reaffirmed their loyalty to TMMG, assured the caucus of an open-door policy, and pledged to give their best if elected.
