The Zamfara State Government has released the first batch of successful applicants in the ongoing recruitment of nurses and midwives under the Hospitals Services Management Board.

The Zamfara Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA), in a statement announcing the development, said the selection followed a screening, verification and assessment process conducted in line with approved recruitment guidelines.

According to the agency, eligible applicants were assessed based on established criteria and due process.

ZITDA said Governor Dauda Lawal approved the recruitment of the successful candidates after being satisfied with the eligibility of the applicants as well as the transparency and due process observed throughout the selection exercise.

The agency urged all applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise to check their application status through the official recruitment portal.

Applicants can access their status using their email address, phone number or application ID.

The status can be checked through the official portal at the recruitment section of the Zamfara State Government website.

ZITDA congratulated applicants who made the first batch, urging them to justify the confidence placed in them by carrying out their responsibilities with diligence, professionalism, integrity and commitment to the people of Zamfara State.

The agency, however, advised applicants who were not included in the first batch not to be discouraged, stressing that the recruitment process is still ongoing.

It urged such applicants to remain patient and continue checking the official recruitment portal for further updates and subsequent batches.

ZITDA also cautioned applicants against relying on unofficial sources or individuals for information concerning the recruitment exercise, advising them to obtain updates only through official communication from the relevant government authorities.

The agency thanked all applicants for their patience and cooperation throughout the recruitment process and wished the successful candidates success in their new roles.
