Yetunde Oni: Meet The New Managing Director/CEO Of Union Bank

In a recent shakeup in the banking sector, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) dissolved the Boards and Management of three major banks – Union Bank, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank.

As a result, Yetunde Oni emerged as the new Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of Union Bank plc, succeeding Mudassir Amray.

Prime Merchant Bank and Ecobank Nigeria (1994 – 2005)

  • Started with Prime Merchant Bank Treasury & Money Markets Group.
  • Joined Ecobank Nigeria as a Relationship Manager.

Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria (2005 – 2014)

  • Joined as Senior Account Relationship Manager in the Local Corporations segment.
