Sagamu LG Boss Hosts NYSC Coordinator Ahead Of Camp Opening

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, on Thursday received the Ogun State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Olayinka Diana Madami, and her team during an advocacy visit ahead of the official opening of the new orientation camp.
Madami, who resumed duties at the camp earlier in the day, led the visit to pay homage to the host council in line with tradition. She emphasized the importance of establishing a cordial relationship with the local government before commencing camp activities.
In his remarks, Ogbeni Odulate appreciated the NYSC Coordinator’s thoughtful gesture and reaffirmed Sagamu Local Government’s full support for the scheme.
“I sincerely appreciate Mrs. Madami’s visit. Her respect for local structure is commendable. As a government, we are committed to supporting the NYSC and ensuring the welfare and safety of corps members during their stay,” he said.
The Chairman also addressed representatives of the incoming corps members, urging them to stay security conscious, conduct themselves with discipline, and make the most of their service year.
He concluded by expressing readiness to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new batch of corps members scheduled for Friday.
