Rep Member Fayinka Empowers Constituents, Prince Arogundade Applauds Initiative

Hon. Oluwatoyin Moses Fayinka, the lawmaker representing Mushin Federal Constituency II at the House of Representatives, empowered no fewer than 250 members of his constituency during a grand event held at his constituency office in Aromire, Mushin, on September 11, 2024.
The empowerment program, which is part of Fayinka’s ongoing efforts to improve the lives of his people, saw the distribution of essential items such as sewing machines, grinding machines, tricycles (NAPEP), and other life-changing tools to the beneficiaries. The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of his people, urging them to continue supporting him so he can impact even more lives.
The event also marked the certification and equipping of graduates from Fayinka’s artisan training program. Each graduate was awarded N100,000 to help them launch their businesses, a gesture that underscores the lawmaker’s dedication to creating economic opportunities for his constituents.
The beneficiaries of the program were drawn from a wide range of groups, including community members, religious bodies, political parties, associations, and other local organizations. This broad representation highlights Fayinka’s commitment to inclusivity and his determination to uplift every sector of the Mushin community.
In his address to the audience, Hon. Fayinka expressed his unwavering resolve to continue his work, stating, “I am irrevocably committed to the welfare and well-being of my constituents. This empowerment program is a clear demonstration of that commitment, and we will continue to improve lives in Mushin.”
Speaking to the press at the event, Prince Adewale Arogundade, the convener of ‘MUSHIN TUNTUN’and a leading aspirant for the Mushin Local Government chairmanship, commended Fayinka’s initiative. “I was here just four months ago for another empowerment program, and Hon. Fayinka has once again raised the bar with this latest effort. If given the mandate, I promise to continue this tradition and do even more for the people of Mushin,” Arogundade stated.
He further urged the people of Mushin to continue supporting the APC, assuring them that the party remains dedicated to delivering the dividends of democracy at all levels of governance.
The event was graced by prominent political leaders, members of the APC, religious leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders, and residents of Mushin Local Government, further emphasizing the significance of the occasion.
