Prince Arogundade Preaches Moderation As Muslims Celebrate Eid-el-Kabir

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Mushin local government, Lagos and popular group known as The Mandate Movement (TMM), Prince Adewale Arogundade, has sent a goodwill message to the Muslims on the celebration of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir festival.
In a goodwill message released by his media assistant, Lateef Owodunni, he has advised Muslims to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with moderation and shun all undue excesses. He urged the Muslim faithful to uphold their obedience to Allah in the spirit of forgiveness for one another.
Arogundade described Islam as a religion that upholds the spirit of love, peace, and charity. According to him, it preaches harmonious living relationships with other religious adherents.
The message partly reads:
On this occasion of the celebration of Eid-el-kabir, I felicitate with all Muslim faithfuls, and I pray that the blessings of Almighty Allah associated with this celebration continue to abide with us all.
I implore us to share love among our friends, family, and indeed neighbours as the Glorious Quran teaches, and above all let’s celebrate with moderation and shun all undue excesses.
I urge you all to continue to support the All Progressive Congress led administration across the country with prayers.
I wish us all a memorable celebration.
