Prince Arogundade Celebrates Rasaq Ajala, Yemi Alli’s Prestigious Lagos Award Wins
2 min readPrince Adewale Arogundade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an aspirant for the Chairmanship position in Mushin Local Government, extends his congratulations to Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, Chairman of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, for winning the Lagos Man of the Year award for 2024.
Ajala triumphed in a tightly contested poll conducted by the Centre for Policy Development and Political Studies, amassing a total of 3,912 votes. He edged out notable contenders, including Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, who garnered 3,862 votes, and Hundogan Temitope Sewanu, Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Ministry of Finance, who received 1,835 votes. Engineer Kunmi Adedeji, Managing Director of TOPEK Engineering and Consultancy Limited, followed with 1,685 votes.
Arogundade expressed his admiration for Ajala, acknowledging that Ajala’s exemplary performance has set a high standard for all aspirants vying for leadership positions across the 57 local government and local council development areas in Lagos. “Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala is truly loved by his people, and his success raises the bar for those of us aspiring to become chairmen. His dedication and service to the people are inspiring,” Arogundade stated.
Additionally, Arogundade extended his congratulations to Hon. Adeyemi Alli (FCIA) for his remarkable legislative and political achievements. Alli’s impressive performance in the Lagos Federal House of Representatives Member Performance Ranking, where he secured a top spot with 10,700 points, has been widely recognized and celebrated.
