Amaju Pinnick Slams Davido For No-Show At ‘Warri Again’ Despite $94,600 Payment
Former NFF President Amaju Pinnick publicly criticized popular Nigerian musician Davido, also known as David Adeleke, for failing to fulfill his commitment to the ‘Warri Again’ show despite receiving a payment of $94,600.
Readership NG reports that during the event, Pinnick, a well-known socialite, took the stage to voice his disappointment at Davido’s absence, asserting that Davido’s no-show was a sign of disrespect towards the city of Warri, given the substantial payment he had received for his performance.
The event, which took place on October 6th, witnessed Davido’s absence despite arrangements that included a chartered plane to transport him and his team to the venue.
Davido, originally slated as the headline performer, was replaced by Shallipopi, known for the hit song “Evien.”
