Oyo APC Lawmakers Meet Enilolobo, Intensify 2027 Election Strategy
As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum, four members of the Oyo State House of Assembly elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have paid a strategic courtesy visit to the party’s chieftain, Alhaji Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo.
The delegation comprised the Minority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waliu Salami (Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency), Hon. Musbau Azeez (Kajola State Constituency), Hon. Lukmon Jimoh (Orelope State Constituency), and Hon. Shittu Ibrahim (Saki West State Constituency).
The closed-door meeting centred on key political issues, including strengthening party cohesion, deepening grassroots mobilisation, and mapping out strategies ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sources at the meeting said the discussions underscored the need for sustained unity among party stakeholders and greater collaboration in building a formidable political structure capable of returning the APC to power in Oyo State.
The lawmakers and Enilolobo were said to have expressed confidence in the party’s prospects, stressing that collective commitment, effective grassroots engagement, and strategic planning would be critical to the APC’s success in the next governorship election.
The visit is seen as part of ongoing consultations among APC leaders aimed at consolidating the party’s strength, fostering internal unity, and positioning it for a strong outing in the 2027 polls.
