Olumuyiwa Sodade Unanimously Nominated As APC Flag Bearer In Remo North
In a decisive meeting held by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo North, Hon. Olumuyiwa Sodade was unanimously nominated as the party’s flag bearer for the upcoming local government elections.
The meeting, convened by the Remo North APC Chairman Otunba Muyiwa Sobambo witnessed the presence of top leaders and stakeholders, all of whom rallied around Sodade’s candidacy. The event also had all the Chairmanship Aspirants and strong representations from the party’s leadership at the state level, including representatives of Governor Dapo Abiodun in person of Prince Wole Sowole demonstrating support from the highest levels of the party.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Sodade expressed profound gratitude to Governor Abiodun for his continued support and leadership. He pledged to work tirelessly to unify the APC in Remo North, ensuring that the party enters the forthcoming election with a united front.
“Our strength lies in our unity, and I am committed to bringing all factions together for the good of our local government and its people,” Sodade declared. He further promised to lead the party to victory in the upcoming elections, reinforcing the APC’s stronghold in the region.
Special appreciation was also extended by Sodade to his family, political allies, and notable leaders within the APC, who have stood by him throughout his political journey. He also acknowledged the role of the party’s members, thanking them for their unwavering support and dedication.
Speaking at the end of the event, the APC Chairman for Remo North Otunba Olumuyiwa Sobambo praised the party leaders, members, and other stakeholders for making the nomination process a success. He expressed confidence that under Sodade’s leadership, the APC would secure victory at the polls. “With the unity we have demonstrated today, I have no doubt that our party will triumph in the forthcoming election,” the Chairman affirmed.
