Ogun Supervisors’ Forum Rallies Behind Abiodun, Warns Detractors

The Ogun State Local Government Supervisors’ Forum (OGSF) has reaffirmed its loyalty and commitment to the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, describing his leadership as a transformative force in the state.

In a statement issued at the weekend, the forum condemned what it called “orchestrated attempts” by certain individuals and groups to discredit the governor through “baseless and malicious statements.”

“We vehemently condemn the calculated effort to sabotage the progress of our dear state. We issue a stern warning to those peddling falsehoods and divisive narratives: cease and desist immediately,” the forum said.

Highlighting the achievements of the Abiodun-led government, OGSF pointed to significant strides in infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and agriculture, all anchored on the governor’s ISEYA agenda.

According to the group, the state is experiencing “a paradigm shift” that is reshaping its development outlook and positioning Ogun among the most progressive states in Nigeria.

The forum also expressed readiness to support Abiodun’s potential bid in the 2027 elections, urging stakeholders to unite behind his vision for sustainable development.

“We stand united in support of Governor Abiodun’s vision for the future of Ogun State. His leadership remains a beacon of hope for our state’s resurgence, and we pledge our unwavering support as he continues to chart a course for greatness,” the statement added.

The Supervisors’ Forum further called on residents to join hands with the governor in driving inclusive growth, prosperity, and peace across Ogun State.
