Ogun Police Declare Portable Wanted Over Violent Attack On Officials
The Ogun State Police Command has declared Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as “Portable,” wanted over his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials. A valid court order has been issued for his immediate arrest and presentation at any police station.
According to the police statement, the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office, were carrying out an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. The officials—identified as TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—requested the approved building plan from an elderly man at Odogwu Bar, who was later identified as Portable’s father.
Shortly after, Portable reportedly arrived at the scene armed with a firearm and other dangerous weapons, leading a group of nine thugs in a violent assault on the unarmed officials. The enforcement officers sustained injuries but managed to escape and report the incident to the Ota Area Command, which escalated the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
While nine accomplices were arrested, Portable fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Despite multiple formal invitations to report to the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters in Abeokuta, he has repeatedly ignored them.
Following his continued evasion, the police obtained a court order officially declaring him wanted. Authorities have urged members of the public to provide any relevant information that could lead to his arrest. They also warned that anyone found aiding or harboring the fugitive musician would face legal action.
The Ogun State Police Command has advised anyone with useful information to report to the nearest police station or contact the command through its official channels.
