Ogbeni Odulate Inaugurates Sagamu Land Advisory Committee

In a significant stride towards improved land administration and protection of public property, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, officially inaugurated the Sagamu Local Government Land Advisory Committee on Wednesday morning.
The newly constituted committee, chaired by Bashorun Adebayo Awosanya, has been tasked with key responsibilities including the identification of all government-owned lands, resolution of land disputes, and the reclamation of lands currently under unauthorized use.
In his address during the inauguration, Ogbeni Odulate expressed deep gratitude to the committee members for accepting the call to serve, emphasizing that the selection was based on merit, local knowledge, and a commitment to the community.
“We didn’t just pick names; we chose people who truly understand Sagamu and have the heart to serve,” the Chairman noted. “Their job won’t be easy, but it’s necessary.”
The Executive Chairman further urged the committee to carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility, stressing that their service transcends governmental duties and directly impacts the lives of Sagamu residents.
This move forms part of the local government’s broader mission under the banner of #IgbegaijobaibileSagamu, aimed at fostering development and restoring order in land administration across the local government area.
