Ogbeni Odulate Drums Support For APC, Says Elegbeji Is Ready To Serve

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday officially flagged off its campaign for the forthcoming bye-election in Remo North State Constituency, scheduled for August 16, 2025. The campaign train made stops across Wards 4, 7, and 8, drawing large crowds and enthusiastic party supporters.

The campaign is seen as more than just a political outing, but a continuation of the legacy of the late lawmaker, Otunba Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (IJAYA), who previously represented the constituency with distinction.

Speaking during the campaign tour, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, expressed optimism about the party’s chances at the polls. He described the party’s candidate, Princess Adesola Elegbeji, as a focused and capable leader ready to serve.

“Princess Elegbeji is not just our flag bearer—she is a woman of substance, fully prepared to continue the work IJAYA started. With the overwhelming support of our people, I am confident that the APC will retain this mandate come August 16,” Odulate stated.

He further emphasized that the campaign is driven by a renewed hope agenda, promising continued development and responsive representation for the people of Remo North.
