Ogbeni Odulate Commends Ogun East APC Leaders On Abiodun’s Senate Endorsement

Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun East Senatorial District have endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun as the party’s consensus candidate for the 2027 senatorial election, according to the Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate.

Odulate announced the decision on Monday during a gathering at Adeola Odutola Hall in Ijebu-Ode, which drew a broad coalition of party elders, former and serving public officials, and grassroots representatives from across the district.

“A powerful wave of unity and purpose filled Adeola Odutola Hall today, as elders, leaders, stakeholders, and serving public office holders across Ogun East gathered to unanimously endorse our ‘Koseleri’ governor and tested performer as the Ogun East consensus senatorial candidate for 2027,” Odulate said.

He added that the endorsement was “built on proven leadership, visible results, and a track record that speaks for itself,” expressing confidence that Abiodun would deliver even more if elected to the Senate.

Governor Abiodun, who is currently serving his second term, has yet to publicly respond to the endorsement. Party insiders say the move signals early alignment ahead of the 2027 general elections.
