NNPC Retail Denies Plans To Increase Petrol Price, Urges Customers To Disregard Speculations

1 min read

The Retail arm of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has refuted recent media reports suggesting an imminent increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.

The company addressed these claims and reassured its customers in a statement released on Monday in Abuja.

The reports had suggested that there might be a potential rise in the price of petrol from the current N617 per litre to a range between N720 and N750 per liter.

However, NNPC Retail swiftly moved to quell these rumors, emphasizing that there is no intention to implement such a price hike.

In a message directed at its valued customers, NNPC Retail stated, “Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated. Please buy the best quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.”
