Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, conveyed Clegg’s statement, highlighting Meta’s intention to deepen partnerships in Nigeria.
This infrastructure project is expected to have a significant economic impact, potentially amounting to $37 billion within the next two to three years across the African continent.
“It is an extraordinary infrastructure project. When it comes on stream in the first quarter of 2025, it will be twice as much as the capacity of all subsea cables that exist,” Clegg stated.
