Mushin Mandate Movement Celebrates Nigeria At 64, Honours Late Leader

In commemoration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, the Mushin chapter of The Mandate Movement held a significant event to honour their late apex leader, Alhaja Tawakalitu Olusola Oyedele.

The gathering, which took place today in Mushin, brought together members of the movement to discuss key issues surrounding the leadership of the country, Lagos State, and Mushin Local Government.

During the event, Mr. Tajudeen Alawiye, the Chairman of all Ward Chairmen of the group in Mushin commended members for their continued dedication to Nigeria, Lagos State, Mushin, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and The Mandate Movement.

In his address, he encouraged members to increase public awareness of the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that progress requires sacrifice.

Prince Adewale Arogundade, the convener of Mushin Tun-Tun, spoke to the press following the event. He expressed his congratulations to Nigerians on the Independence Anniversary, affirming that the country is worth celebrating. He praised the leadership of the APC nationwide, noting that the party is implementing the transformative agenda envisioned by Nigeria’s founding fathers. Arogundade also lauded President Tinubu, expressing optimism that despite the current challenges, Nigeria will ultimately prevail.

Other prominent leaders in attendance included Mr. Abdulrazaq Obafunso, Alhaji Adekunle Giwa, Mr. Femi Oyedele and Alhaji Lukmon Ishola Oyedele, among other notable figures within The Mandate Movement.

The event was both a celebration of Nigeria’s independence and a tribute to Alhaja Tawakalitu Oyedele’s enduring legacy in Mushin’s political landscape.
