Prince Adewale Arogundade, a prominent aspirant for the chairmanship of Mushin Local Government, has expressed strong admiration for the administration of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, following the successful commissioning of the Mushin Flyover.
The Mushin Flyover is the final instalment of five bridges constructed along the Red Line Rail corridor. According to Arogundade, the infrastructure is more than just a bridge; it represents a major milestone in the ongoing development and modernization of the community. The flyover offers a seamless connection between Agege Motor Road, Onipanu, and the Ogunmokun axis, effectively alleviating longstanding traffic congestion and eliminating the risks associated with the railway level crossing.
Arogundade emphasized the importance of the project, noting that the enhanced safety and convenience provided by the new overpass can not be overstated. He described the infrastructure as a beacon of progress, ensuring that roads in the area are safer and that commutes are more efficient.
Beyond improving transportation, the completion of the Mushin Flyover is also expected to boost economic activities in the area. Arogundade highlighted the potential for new business opportunities and growth, attributing this to the forward-thinking vision of the Sanwo-Olu administration. He praised the administration for prioritizing the well-being and prosperity of Lagosians through such impactful projects.
As the community celebrates the unveiling of the landmark project, Arogundade urged residents to take ownership of the new infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of protecting and maintaining it for the benefit of future generations.
In his closing remarks, Arogundade extended his deepest gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and all stakeholders involved in bringing the Mushin Flyover project to fruition.
