Massive Turnout As APC’s Afolabi Odulate Flags Off 2024 Campaign In Sagamu

The APC campaign for the upcoming 2024 local government elections in Sagamu officially kicked off today, led by chairmanship candidate Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate (AFO), with large crowds of supporters and community members gathering to back the candidate as the party heads toward the November polls.
The day’s events began promptly at 11:15 a.m. with a procession from the APC AFO Campaign Office, culminating in a ceremonial visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Akarigbo of Remoland, Kabiyesi Ajayi Adewale Babatunde. The campaign team, party leaders, and councilorship candidates were warmly received by the respected ruler, fostering a sense of unity and purpose for the campaign.
Hon. Arole Azeez Bello, Campaign Director General, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Kabiyesi’s blessings and took the opportunity to introduce each APC leader and candidate present. In his address, chairmanship candidate Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate highlighted the achievements of his previous term, which included improvements in infrastructure, job creation, social amenities, and overall community well-being. He credited these successes to the Kabiyesi’s support and humbly sought continued blessings for a productive new term.
The Akarigbo, in his remarks, commended the campaign team’s coordination and reiterated his commitment to Sagamu’s progress. He reminded the attendees that leadership is a call to serve and offered his prayers for the APC’s success in the upcoming election.
Following the palace visit, the campaign moved to Ward One, where a sea of supporters dressed in APC colors greeted the team with cheers and songs of support. The enthusiasm only grew as the team proceeded to Ward Fifteen, where even larger crowds gathered to show their loyalty. Party leaders encouraged the community to come out and vote for the APC on November 16, 2024.
