French President Emmanuel Macron has hosted Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to a private dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

This was disclosed in a post on President Tinubu’s official X handle, describing the dinner with Macron as a pleasure.

“Our conversation reaffirmed the strong friendship between Nigeria and France, as well as our shared commitment to deepening cooperation and building a mutually beneficial partnership between our two nations,” Tinubu said.

He thanked Macron for his hospitality and friendship.

“I thank President Macron for his warm hospitality and friendship,” the president added.
