Kunle Adisa Urges Muslims To Uphold Ramadan’s Virtues Beyond Eid-el-Fitri
Hon. Kunle Adisa, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imeko Afon, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across his constituency in Imeko-Afon, Ogun West, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri
In a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, KA, as he is fondly called, lauded Muslims worldwide for observing Ramadan with devotion, discipline, and sacrifice, describing their commitment as inspiring and exemplary. He also urged the community to continue embodying the virtues of righteousness and moral uprightness.
Speaking on his political ambition, Hon. Kunle Adisa, popularly called KA, noted, “As I prepare to serve my people in the House of Assembly, I remain committed to the values of integrity, service, and accountability that Ramadan teaches us. It is my prayer that the Almighty guides our leaders and citizens alike.”
He further called on government officials at all levels to use the celebration as an opportunity to recommit themselves to policies that promote the welfare of the people, saying, “This sacred period should remind us all to prioritize compassion, fairness, and progress for our communities.”
KA encouraged the Muslim community to let the lessons of Ramadan guide their daily lives, stating, “May we continue to exemplify discipline, sacrifice, and love for one another, and may our prayers for a peaceful and prosperous nation never cease.”
He concluded with a message of hope and service, declaring, “I pray that Almighty God preserves us all to celebrate many more of this wonderful occasion. At all times, I remain dedicated to the development and welfare of our people, using every available opportunity to make life better for all in Imeko Afon.”
