An aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Imeko Afon State Constituency, Hon. Kunle Adisa (KA), has called on Christians to embrace the spirit of courage, renewed hope and steadfast faith as they commemorate Easter.
In a message made available to the press, Adisa described Easter as a powerful reminder that faith triumphs over fear, light prevails over darkness and new beginnings remain possible even in the face of adversity.
Quoting the biblical account in the Gospel of Matthew, “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said,” the aspirant noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes victory, restoration and the promise of a better tomorrow.
He urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Imeko Afon Constituency, to draw strength from the season by fostering unity, love and a shared commitment to societal progress.
“Easter offers us an opportunity to renew our hope, restore our hope and move forward with courage and purpose,” Adisa stated, adding that the lessons of the resurrection should inspire collective efforts toward building a more inclusive and prosperous society.
