JUST IN: Lagos Speaker Bereaved As Father Passes Away
1 min readThe Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has experienced a personal loss with the passing of his father, Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa.
Pa Suleimon, a notable businessman, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 83.
Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa was a respected figure within his community, known for his contributions to the oil and gas sector as well as the transportation industry, where he owned several filling stations. His entrepreneurial spirit also extended to farming, through which he provided significant empowerment to many citizens.
In addition to his business acumen, Pa Obasa was a devout Muslim who devoted his life to the service of Allah and humanity. He was particularly committed to supporting the needy and less privileged members of society.
He is survived by his wives, children, and grandchildren, including the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.
The final rites for Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa will take place at 4 p.m. today in the Agege area of Lagos State, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
