Ebhomien wanted By The Police While Others Arrested

The Nigerian police force have charged Aigbogie Philip and Ejemhen Okosun with inciting public disorder, unlawful assembly, and causing a breach of the peace. These charges stem from their participation in the #Tinubumustgo protest on the 12th of December, 2023 in Ekpoma, Esan West LGA of Edo State.

Mr. Ebhomien Julius Osamudiamen, the leader of the protest, remains at large and has been declared wanted by the police. The authorities are urging anyone with information on Mr. Osamudiamen’s whereabouts to contact the police.

Mr. Ebhomien Julius Osamudiamen, who was accused of a cybercrime offense in violation of section 24(1)(b) of the cybercrimes (prohibition prevention) ActThe prosecution alleged that Mr. Osamudiamen had sent false messages on the media platform “Megawerness News” with the intention of causing insult, enmity, hatred, and ill-will toward the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

While those who were charged to court, the court heard the case of individuals who had been charged with the offense of reasonable felony for staging the #TINUBUMUSTGO protest. The prosecution alleged that the protesters had used the social media platform “#TINUBUMUSTGO” to incite the public to remove the President of Nigeria from office.

The charges were filed some days before the expiration of the detention order of the Federal High Court in Benin city permitting the Department of State Service to keep the activists and some members of the #TINUBUMUSTGO for more than a month in detention. The Court order elapses on January 15th.

The Persecutor also gave permission to the Nigeria police to Arrest Mr Ebhomien Julius Osamudiamen,who is the leader of #TINUBUMUSTGO any where within the country or outside the Country.

EBHOMIEN Julius,who was the PDP presidential agent in Esan West local government area of Edo State was arrested by the police after pulling a stop to the continuation of the results allegedly saying the Election was rigged by Apc and Inec on 26th 2023.Now Ebhomien Julius Osamudiamen is been Declared wanted for treason charges by the Tinubu regime. MR EBHOMIEN is also wanted by the Authority “conspiracy to commit treason and insulting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ” in 17th August , 2023, the Federal High Court Benin granted him bail under the conditions of surrendering all his Anti apc manifestations and agenda and stop his political activities against the Tinubu regime.

The main opposition party in the country which is the PDP have described the declaration of Ebhomien Julius by the police as script plan by the ruling party to crack down on the opposition party in the country. While the party condemned the charge of it members for treason who are the organisers of #Tinubumustgo protest.

Meanwhile the High Court sitting in Ekpoma on 9th of January 2024 have give police order to Arrest and prosecute Ebhomien Destiny, which led a group of young people and other members of people Democratic Party(PDP) in March 2023 to destroy Inec office in Ukhun Road Ekpoma and APC Party secretariat.

The protest which led to the death of Oziegbe igho over the arrest of Ebhomien Julius on 26th of February 2023.
