BREAKING: Ademola Adeleke Triumphs Again, Secures Second Term As Osun Governor

Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party has won the 2026 Osun State governorship election, securing a second term in office.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, declared the result in the early hours of Sunday.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 444,815 votes.
Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came third with 17,180 votes.
The victory gives Adeleke another four-year mandate from the people of Osun State.
A total of 15 political parties contested the election, with the Accord Party, APC and ADC emerging as the three leading parties.
