Awolaja Kolawole Delivers N1m Relief For Ode Remo Power Challenges

Hon. Awolaja Dickson Kolawole, the Deputy Minority Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and legislative representative for Remo North State Constituency, has taken a significant step to improve electricity supply in three communities within Ode Remo.

The lawmaker donated the sum of N1 million to facilitate the repair of transformers in Oke Ola, Orita Mafon/Oke Ikanna, and Larufin communities. The gesture is aimed at addressing prolonged power challenges and fostering better living conditions for residents.

The funds were officially handed over to the traditional leaders, known as Oloritun, who serve as custodians of these communities. Speaking at the presentation, Hon. Awolaja reiterated his commitment to prioritizing infrastructural development and enhancing the welfare of his constituents.

“This intervention is part of my promise to ensure that our communities enjoy basic amenities. I believe consistent power supply will significantly boost economic and social activities,” he stated.

Residents and community leaders expressed their gratitude to Hon. Awolaja for his timely support, noting that the repaired transformers would bring much-needed relief to the affected areas.
