Dividends Of Democracy: Akingbade To Commission Water, Solar Projects In Imeko-Afon
The member representing Imeko-Afon State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Akingbade Jemili Adigun, is set to commission a series of developmental projects across his constituency.
The projects, which include potable water schemes and solar street lights, are aimed at improving living conditions and boosting security in several communities.
According to details released, potable water facilities have been provided in Kile, Asaka, Baare Alatunse, Kondu, and other villages to ensure access to clean and safe water. In addition, solar-powered street lights have been installed along Prof. Asiwaju Road and in towns such as Idofa, Ilara, Moriwi, Afon, and Ibara, among others.

Residents have described the initiatives as “transformative, impactful, and the dawn of a new era of development,” noting that the projects would enhance security, encourage economic activities, and improve quality of life.

Akingbade expressed appreciation to the Ogun State Governor, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his support, while pledging to facilitate more developmental projects for the people of Imeko-Afon.
