Adebiyi Adeleye Pays Tribute To Late Isara Monarch, Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe

Sir (Hon.) Chief Adebiyi Adeleye, Special Adviser on Political Affairs to the Governor of Ogun State and a leading aspirant for the Remo Federal Constituency seat, has paid a moving tribute to the late monarch of Isara Remo, Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe (Erinsiba III), following the official announcement of his passing on May 1, 2025.
In a heartfelt statement, Adeleye described the late Oba as a rare symbol of humility, wisdom, and visionary leadership who left an indelible mark on the history and future of Isara Remo.
“His Royal Highness was more than a king. He was a symbol of identity, a light to his people, and a steady guide through time,” Adeleye stated. “Though he now rests among the ancestors, his memory will forever remain in the soul of Isara Remo.”
Adeleye extended condolences to the royal family, traditional council, and all sons and daughters of Isara Remo, both at home and in the diaspora. He recalled the monarch’s impactful reign since his enthronement in 2018, noting that despite ruling for only seven years, Oba Mayungbe brought peace, unity, and progress to the community.
The monarch, who recently celebrated his 84th birthday, was the 37th Odemo of Isara Remo. Adeleye praised his ability to preserve cultural heritage while embracing development, describing him as “a bridge between generations and a father figure to many.”
“As we mourn this irreplaceable loss, I pray that God grants comfort to the royal household and our entire community,” Adeleye added.
The tribute concluded with a solemn wish: “May the crown he wore continue to shine as a beacon of honour.”
Oba Erinsiba III’s reign will be remembered for its depth of wisdom, cultural pride, and unwavering service to his people.
