ACOMORAN Celebrates Abiodun’s Victory As 2023 Silverbird Man Of The Year
2 min readThe Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Ogun State chapter, has expressed that the 2023 Silverbird Man of the Year Award given to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, is well-deserved.
The award ceremony, held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos State, saw Governor Abiodun recognized for his outstanding contributions.
Recall that Jacob Akinyemi-Johnson, the Chief Creative Officer of Silverbird Group, revealed last year that the Ogun State governor secured more than 70% of the votes cast by Nigerians, solidifying his place as the 2023 Silverbird ‘Man of the Year.’
In a statement released today, Aremo Agunbiade, the Public Relations Officer of the transport association, conveyed the message of the association’s chairman, Acom Kayode Amos Showunmi JP, expressing joy over Abiodun’s recent accolade as the recipient of the 2023 Silverbird Man of the Year Award.
He said, “Prince Dapo Abiodun has successfully made a masterpiece out of Ogun State. The award is a confirmation of the governor’s antecedents as a progressive leader who has continued to use the State’s resources for the common good of all.
“His exemplary leadership qualities have redefined governance and leadership in the state, leading to the birth of many laudable projects witnessed in the state.”
Congratulating the governor, Agunbiade has praised the governor for his recent series of initiatives aimed at relieving the burden on citizens during this trying period. Also, the free surgical intervention program, with surgeries already underway at state hospitals in Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode, and Ilaro.
