Fourteen housemates are currently at risk of eviction from the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ house this week.

The nominations took place on Monday evening shortly after Chimsom was crowned Head of House (HoH) for week five and secured immunity from this week’s eviction.

This marks the second time Chimsom has won the HoH title, having also emerged as the first HoH of the season.

Shortly after the HoH game, Big Brother asked the housemates to nominate contestants they would like to save from possible eviction. The housemates wrote down their choices before announcing them among themselves.

Eventually, the housemates with the most nominations to be saved were Sheba, Goddessa, and Aikou.

“Big Brother then called Chimsom Chuka into the diary room and asked him to save one of the three nominated housemates using his veto power. He chose Sheba. Abi was also saved from eviction after being named the most influential player of week four.

Aikou and Flora, who were voted as the Gambits of the season, were also exempted from eviction, although the housemates are unaware of the development.

This leaves five housemates — Abi, Aikou, Flora, Sheba and Chimsom Chuka — safe from eviction this week, leaving the remaining 14 housemates up for possible eviction.”

The 2026 season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates. This year’s winner stands to claim a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the largest payout in the reality show’s history since its debut in 2006.
