STATEMENT ON THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE 2027 CAMPAIGN SEASON

Today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, marks the official commencement of public campaigns and flag-offs for the 2027 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections, as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ifo Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly election, I welcome this important phase of our democratic journey with a deep sense of responsibility and renewed commitment to the people.

This campaign is not merely about seeking votes. It is about presenting a clear vision, listening to our people’s concerns and offering practical solutions to the challenges confronting our communities.
