Aremo Akinlolu Agunbiade has strengthened the grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of 10 Polling Unit Managers for Ward 7, Unit 9, Ayegbami.

At the meeting, Agunbiade charged the managers to take their responsibilities seriously, remain active in their communities and maintain regular contact with eligible voters ahead of the elections.

He urged them to mobilise support for APC candidates across the various levels of the election, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola (YAYI), Prince Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape and Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye.

Agunbiade also stressed the need for commitment, teamwork and effective grassroots engagement, urging the managers to understand the concerns of voters and remain accessible within their communities.

The 10 managers pledged to discharge their responsibilities diligently, assuring Agunbiade of their readiness to remain active at the grassroots and work towards a strong showing for the APC at the polling unit.

The meeting further adopted a 15-day engagement cycle, with the managers expected to meet regularly with Agunbiade to review their activities, share feedback and strengthen coordination.

The inauguration is expected to further consolidate the party’s grassroots structure in the ward as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
