The development was first made public on Wednesday when Adekunle Gold shared the news via his Snapchat story. Simi later confirmed the arrival of the twins on social media, expressing gratitude and joy with the words, “Asked God for another child and He blessed me double.” The announcement immediately attracted an outpouring of congratulatory messages and goodwill from fans, fellow artistes and well-wishers.
Speculation about the singer’s pregnancy had gained momentum in recent weeks. It began during the Christmas season when the couple released family photographs showing Simi with a visible baby bump alongside Adekunle Gold and their daughter. The anticipation deepened after Simi posted an Instagram video celebrating her pregnancy, captioned, “From my baby, for my babies.”
